Battambang, Phnom Preuk District, Oda Commune
Today, a villager was wounded by soldiers who are protecting the company and officials who are measuring people's plots of land without their consent.
The battle with the company that has received 4,000 hectares of land by the government has finally come to injuries.
Over 30 villagers walked the long distance through rice fields to the provincial town this morning, to avoid being stopped by local authorities. More will gather in front of the provincial office.
The wounded villager is under the care of Battambang medical staff with legal support from ADHOC, a local human rights organization.
What will stop Prime Minister Hun Sen from giving away land to companies?

I just praise SRP for firmly sticking to the principals to serve our National interests.
This neocolonialist Vietnam has so many tricks to break Khmers apart.

Between SRP and the human party:
If both parties have almost identical principals, why creating another party (Human Right Party) to weaken the democratic force?
Can the Human Right Party loses to other Khmer (SRP) by unconditionally joining the SRP to fight our common enemy, Vietnam?
I recognize that SRP is not 100% of what the Human Right Party wanted, but can the Human Right Party loses small thing (lose to SRP) to win big thing (produce a formidable force against the puppet government and Vietnam ?
If the Human Right party cannot get rid of its ego, we will never find a solution to solve our national problem.
The main reason why I want the Human Right Party to join SRP because SRP was created first and both have identical principals.
Likewise, if the Human Right Party was created first, SRP must unconditionally join the Human Right Party.
Finally, the Human Right Party must stop whining on little thing and joining SRP for Khmer's survival.
Note: I am not belonging to SRP. I just express my own opinion on how to break the gridlock on forming solidarity.

I've always felt that way about HRP. KEM SOKHA is just seeking personal fame. His party is so minor, its not even funny why he would feel the need to have a party.

I also concur to your opinion. HRP is much younger and smaller compared to SRP. SRP had been struggled for so long save and serve our National interests. It's became the biggest opposition party in the country, why HRP wants to change everything that they had build to meet their demands or criteria? I don't see HRP has the real ambition to save the nation, but instead for fame and power.
