It's ashame for the loud mouth gov't that can't take care its own people. Lots of donation from world donors for the Nom Benh Government to take care the people but it sit on its hands and money in individuals pockets.
This why Siameses cussed and insult Cambodian government leaders.
This people go to Thailand not just for survive but in hope that they can earn more to become rich but in stead became slave of Thai boss without pay.

It never amazed me how the Siem thugs and bitches like to parade these dirt poor Cambodian in front of camera as if somehow they feel racially superior than Cambodian and it empowered the Siem thugs and bitches to abuse more helpless Cambodian people!

These Khmer Labourers have no jobs in their own country, because Hun Sen save the jobs and land for his yuon boss.
Khmer never ever appreciate what Khmer has and offer, they enjoy slave labour, they want boss but they do not want to be their own boss. There are planty opportunity in Cambodia. This people go to Thailand to make money for their family but in fact they make money for prostitute in Thailand and bring home AIDs, some people went there to make money for Thai gansters.
Anyway this people was minority who created bad reputation for Cambodia, 15 million Cambodian living in decent with honor.
No other regime is/was poor than Khmer Rough. Earn less in Cambodia is better than earn more in Thailand and end save nothing, Khmer proverb 'trade near is better than trade far'. We have NGO, union, ...and we voice our concern, we have law (not perfect but help). In Thailand we are out caste, law protect only Thai citizen but most Khmer end up death in Thai jail.
All government around the world are the same shit, we can see Indian slum, Manila slum, Bangkok slum, Jakata and Kulalumpor slum but their people stand for their right made their country better.
