Electric car made in Cambodia

Cambodian mechanic Nhean Phaloek (centre R) shows a feature of a locally made electric car 'Angkor EV 2013' to people at a showroom in Phnom Penh on January 8, 2013. Cambodia's Heng Development Company has unvveilled its first electric-powered car branded 'Angkor', named after the country's famed ancient Angkor temples, which has a top speed of 60 kilometres per hour and was designed by local innovator Nhean Phaloek. I am very proud of our Khmer inventor. This is his first step, at lease he has a vision and a dream. Some day Khmer will design and build cars before Ah Youn and Siam.
