On Sunday, opposition leader Sam Rainsy warned that he will immediately remove any elected SRP councilors who would be involved in corruption, in theft of state assets, and in land-grabbing. During a meeting with commune councilors from Kandal province and Phnom Penh city, Sam Rainsy issued a warning, saying that the SRP will remove and replace anyone who is involved in corruption and land-grabbing. Sam Rainsy sais: “We will remove individuals who are not faithful with the voters, as well as those who do not support the people. The SRP will remove these people out and replace them with [councilors] who are faithful to the people.” It should be noted that the 2009 election for provincial and district councilors will take place on 17 May.

Sam Raisy has concerned to much on political purpose about his SRP councilors illicit activities, our cops and court will trip them theirs authorities if they were guilty. Just like Prince Sisowath Duong Chivan Monirak has been convicted for swindling.

i think it's good to set good example like this, especially in a leadership position. maybe it's good to remind everyone to do the same in all of cambodia.
