Khmers will remember that more lands were lost because of Sihanouk.
Sihanouk knows how to sacrafy his own people, even the entire nation for the sake of monarchy. It's not the first time ever Cambodia has been to the pit of hell - mistreated by both Vietnam and Thailand. Therefore, it's perfectly fine for Sihanouk to see Cambodia and its people suffer, again and again......... Sihanouk is not going be there for Sam Rainsy or anyone else in Cambodia,but his old palace, his relatives and our King today. But, it is not a bad idea to see where the former monarch really stands on the issue.
