I have a feeling that rainsy's statement at the end is disrespectful to Human Right Party. He said that if you are strong, you don't need me. Go do your damn things, be strong on your own. when you are strong then I will join you. So that alone show that rainsy is selfish and only look to benefit himself. It is hard to understand why he said he willing to merge and then turn around and look down on the party that he might merge with.
I'm glads to hear that SRP and HRP merge. So can all the small partie merge make only two partie one is ah CPP and one is Democracy partty.
That only chance we can saves our country from ah Youn that try shallow our belong country.

Sam Rainsy said nothing of the sort. And I don't know what Kem Sokha said, but I'm sure he wasn't anymore confrontation either.
What Sam Rainsy said was very reasonable, he said each political parties should strengthen themselves up build up a good reputation. He suggested that it is bad for any party to depend on others, not specifically talking about HRP but in general, so that each of us must prove our own competence and that in the end, such competence will show in a strong viable opposition union to be formed shortly before the 2012 election.
Sorry, but people who don't speak Khmer shouldn't repost the message in English! Misquoting other is also misrepresentation and defaming other's character

Mr. Kim Sokha did not attack the SRP. He just presents his ideas to the public and if it sounds better than that what it is. Deep down inside he knows he cann't do it alone. Hope Mr. Sam Rainsey is seeing the same. Bottom line there is not enough people to just vote and support the SRP or HRP alone. What's wrong with combining the ideas and work to win? Mr. Sam Rainsey had the most members. It makes sense giving the honor of letting him lead the party.
Picture this: Mr. Kim Sokha is the seller and Mr. Sam rainsey is the buyer. If you think the product is desirable enough than why not? If it's too expensive, why not bargain it down? Mr. Kim Sokha will sell , if it's the right price. What's the point of keeping it?
Best example from a European princess who had fine idea that she was about to sell it to the Channel Company. Here's what the CEO of the CC wants:
I will buy your product, but you will work just for me only. Your work will be exclusively advertising and selling under The Channel's trade mark only and no one else.
The princess at time had many clients. Everyone admires and wants her products. She wanted to sell it to everybody. She forgot that she could end up pleasing hundred of clients instead of just one and she said no. In about 6 months later everybody bought her products . They got it.they loved it and they also tired of it.Then what? She could not sell. It's done and no more value.
The Channel Company wasn't just anybody. It's the best known business company in Europe then and now 80 years or so later.
The meaning of the story, is that the Princess had ended up having no job in 6 months with the regular market. Of course her products was the best then, but it wasn't protected or be sold under the most prestigue name like The Channel. It was sold to anybody ono the street and lost value. She couldn't keep pleasing everybody either. So she was tired herself. So she ended up quiting or having no employment and broke.
Another word, if the Princess chose to stay with just the Channel, she would only have one client to please. All the advertisements and marketing will be done by the CC and she wouldn't have to have worry about anything. Just keep working and concentrating on doing better for herself and the CC only. This road was probably a long lasting road which she could have took, but not. As the original designer for the CC, would it be a terrific job that would fit a real life Princess? Absolutely, but it was a real life mistake. She made bad decision and lost it for good.
Please think about it, because it takes two people to produce marvelous products. Otherwise it will be left unknown, unimportant and be wasted...like Mr. Kim Sokha's idea and Mr. Sam Rainsey that continue to have sky high demanding. If this is for real than many people would agree that it worth it for both sides and both sides will win and will share great success.
Most of HRP members are the former of Lok Ta Son San party, Pol Ham, Keat Sokun, Kem Sokha himself then move to FUNCINPEC, hope not Son Sobert, and Pen Sovann. Why they can't survive their original party? and why Kem Sokha did not form the political party before he establish Human Rights Center? He just form the political party after he was jailed by Hun Sen? and why Kem Sokha is still keep attacking Sam Rainsy?
Please don't use 8:25am's idea to join with the CPP. Bad idea. Cambodia needs new political party that don't kiss youn's ass. The SRP makes fabulous competition. Keep your head and your nose up. You're alright being a new dude on the block.

Dear All,
Please be understood about multi-parties parliament system and democracy system. In this system, we encourage people to set up their own polical voice to represente their share in the community. Therefore any push for a combine party between SRP and HRP is not a democratic system nor a multi-parties system as well.
We should encourage them set up an alliance for their campaign and their coalition government if they can form the government.
The problem with Cambodia now is to implement the right full system for the election which there are;
-First past to Post or
-Party vote
The problem in the past 3 elections was that Cambodia has used Party vote system but the result was used First past to post as a system. That is totally wrong.
Only using the righ system, that Cambodian can survive.

I am very sicked to see many fellow Cambodian attacking to each other. Cambodian will be left for a few hundred and be like monky for tourist moneys.
We should try to give solution so that Cambodia can be a better place for everyone to live in.
Each time, I gave my solution which are being used in other democratic Nations and I found that they are good solution to give everyone fair and justice.
I believe that only solution can cure Cambodian social problem and attack to each other will not be a solution at all.

Why are you support the Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime abuse the court as a tools to send political opponents, journalists, land owners and farmers to jail?
You're supported the Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime who is responsible for killing almost two million innocent Khmer peoples and counting.
Please do me a favor, don't ever tell anyone that you are Khmer because you make Khmer peoples look bad.
My Fellow Khmers:
I have tremendous respects for both Mr. Rainsy and Mr. Sokha, and I believe these two elders have lasting roles to contribute to Cambodia future. However, I humbly think they should step down and elect a new figure to head the merged opposition. The two gentlemen can remain as honorable founders and personal advisers to the new leader.
I'm a younger generation willing and able to lead the new party, if asked. I will lead with strength and determination, and will take a more agressive and pro-active approach. If I do not deliver results by the next election, I'm willing to step down for a new leader.
It is grand time for all of us to be the master of our destiny. The nation can not afford to wait, and expect us to take our political platform to the next level.
I represent the new generation of know-how and have tremendous confidence in our abilities to do the right things for the country.
