THE SAM RAINSY PARTY IS THE ONLY HOPE
WHEN HUN SEN CAPITALIZES ON KEM SOKHA’S DUPLICITY
The recent leak of a secret conversation/deal between Hun Sen and Kem Sokha has the effect of a bomb on Cambodia’s political landscape.
The recorded conversation took place on 25 July 2007, meaning just three days after the creation of Kem Sokha’s Human Rights Party (HPR). In the conversation, Hun Sen and Kem Sokha precisely discussed the circumstances surrounding the creation of the HPR, which was made possible thanks to the support and assistance of Hun Sen’s Cambodian People’s Party (CPP).
Hun Sen and Kem Sokha clearly showed their common goal: the destruction of the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP), the main opposition party that had unwaveringly been standing against the CPP. Hun Sen gave Kem Sokha advice and recommendations on how to achieve this goal or, at least, how to disturb and weaken the SRP. Kem Sokha profusely thanked Hun Sen for his support and welcomed Hun Sen’s advice and recommendations as “instructions” from the CPP Prime Minister.
A few years after concluding his deal with Hun Sen, meaning now, everybody can see Kem Sokha’s duplicity when he pretends he wants to form an alliance with the SRP against the CPP. How can he form an alliance with the SRP while the secret goal he shares with the CPP is to destroy the very same SRP?
Kem Sokha is not an honest man. He is not honest with the SRP and cannot be a loyal partner. But he is not honest even with his own supporters, those HRP members who wrongly believed that the HRP was formed to oppose the CPP and who would have never imagined that Kem Sokha would make a secret deal with the CPP against the SRP in order to serve his personal interest.
Kem Sokha’s duplicity does not allow the SRP to consider his HRP as a possible partner in any alliance. The HRP may perhaps form a shady alliance with Funcinpec or the Norodom Ranariddh Party (NRP). These three small parties with no principles have something in common: they all compete to serve in, and under, a treasonous government led by Hun Sen’s CPP.
As Cambodia’s second largest political party, the SRP remains the only credible alternative to the autocratic Hun Sen regime. It has always abided by its patriotic and democratic principles. It represents the only hope for a democratic change. This is why it has always borne the brunt of the CPP repression.
Just a few days before the leak of the secret deal between Hun Sen and Kem Sokha, Sam Rainsy published a statement reinstating his stance, “A Peaceful Way To Put An End To The Despised Hun Sen Regime.”
Therefore, the SRP will continue to grow on Cambodia’s political landscape as the main popular force to combat the repressive and regressive CPP. It will continue to relentlessly and determinedly fight for Cambodia’s national independence and territorial integrity, and for good governance and social justice.

My advice to them, they should consider their current political affiliation with Kem Sokha. Otherwise, they will be named as a national traitor as well.

KI is working for Sam Rainsey and they like to stire up and labeling those who are not with the SRP. That is very sad to see Khmer fight and kill each other. If we are in it to build our country together we need to respect and love one another not destroying each other. Please think it over before you making any negative comments. Someone said before, "if you don't have anyting good to say, don't say it at all." I am no political expert or claims to know Kem Sokha, but he appeared to be very Nationalist and honest when speaking of how much he love Cambodia while being in the states. Therefore, please stop casting a judgment on Kem Sokha before you have a chance to speak to him personally.

If KI is truly working for SRP like you said I think SRP must have some thing really good. How about you do you have any good thing that deserve someone working for you. For me personally I want to work for a good person and to unite with a kind honest and capable person.
I used to hate and stop talking to a friend who is dishonest and cheated me. I always being good to someone first and if he is not good to me I have to stay away from him.
Don't worry about asking someone to unite or be friend with you. You just prove yourself as a good person, kind, honest and brave and ready to sacrifice for your people and nation then you will have me as your supporter.

Khem Sokha begin to work for Hun Sen when his staff of Humab Rights Office filed corruption and mismanagement of finance at the Court. His case almost put on trail but was stopped by the most powerful man in Cambodia, since then the snow ball between Hun Sen and sokha starts rolling. Rainsy suspects all along but he doesn't have an evidence. Even he believes some people in SRP are having two heads as well. He exiles in France can help him and expose some of them as well. one of them gone. Five more innner circle need to be cleaned up. You will surprise the names.

SRP is continue to grow? really Mr. Socheata? SRP is dying and will not gain any seats in the next coming election. Sam Rainsey never ever going to be a prime minister of Cambodia. Rainsey's recently tour in USA, privately admitted that he has no hope that he able to return to Cambodia. Anyone that support SRP and rainsey will post anything in here and Mr. Socheata and KI are working for SRP. These group of people are continue to give themselves high mark and never acknowledge that problems that SRP is having. The constantly posting good article about SRP all the time and the sad part of it is that they wrote it themselves.
let talk about the constant incompetent of CPP & ah traitor Hun Sen how long has it got to resolve the border dispute with Thailand. Ther way too many dead beat in CPP including Hun Sen himself. Hence they are not focus on advancing the nation but eliminate the opposition so they have absolute power. A motive leanr well by Ah Hun Sen as former KR and Viet slaved.
SRP is not in government and it does not have the tools & power and the corruption money and Viet support like the CPP does. It is a representation of Khmer people, sure CPP won the last election but how many of the voter voting for CPP as Khmer or are they Viets? i think those whom support CPP have 2 motive i.e they have something to gain from association with Ah Hun Sen or they are in business with ah Hun Sen. There is nothing about advancing Cambodia and it people.
