ACCUSATION
My name is SAM RAINSY, a Member of Parliament of Cambodia. I publicly accuse Mrs. BUN RANY HUN SEN, the wife of Mr. HUN SEN, Prime Minister of Cambodia, of masterminding the assassination in 1999 of Ms. PISETH PILIKA, a renowned Cambodian artist. The assassination was perpetrated in Phnom Penh with the complicity of Mr. HUN SEN and the Police under his orders.I invite Mr. and Mrs. HUN SEN to be courageous enough to dare file a defamation lawsuit against me before the French Court since it is from the French soil that I accuse them of murder.
Mr. HOR NAMHONG, Cambodia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, has already filed such a lawsuit against me before the French Court.
If Mr. and Mrs. HUN SEN do not dare to start a lawsuit against me, they would show up their cowardice and would implicitly recognize that they are effectively murderers.

Let me ask the same questions that I asked so many times in the past but never got the answer:
Does SRP have competent senior members/advisors? Does Mr. Rainsy listen to advices from his associates/supporters?
I am not quite sure of and understand well this political strategy as somebody else could have done this instead of Mr. Sam Rainsy, himself.
Using this strategy to get back to Cambodia won't work as the couple in this accusation have already lost their faces. They are certainly very mad right now. Their crimes are known in public anyway so to them this is just like hitting on their dead bodies. Besides, they are too smart to take such a bait!
Sam Rainsy does not need to be in Cambodia for the elections to the point where such a strategy should be used. There are a lot of competent SRP members in the country.
In my opinion this is the best moment for Sam Rainsy to demonstrate his principles and commitment for and belief in democracy by resigning from the position of presidence of the party and become a standing member of the party instead. He still can advise and help with the direction of the party from far away.
Let us not forget that in the 60s Cambodian peasants and Cambodians for lack of (good) education and knowledge attached themselves to the personality of Norodom Sihanouk. We are now living in the 21st century where many Cambodians are educated enough to vote for the principles and policies of a party rather than its president and for that reason chaning the president is not a loss to a party at all as long as the principles of democracy, justice, anti-corruption, etc. of the party remains the same.
I call on Mr. Sam Rainsy to resign and allow his party to choose a new president. He can always come back as a president later if the people in his party desire so in the future.

Another problem associated with such a strategy is that huge amount of money is needed for such a lawsuit.
Let us say Bun Rany and Hun Sen decided to take on such a challenge and sue Sam Rainsy in the French court. We all know that Hun Sen has unlimited supply of money so the case would go all the way to the French Supreme Court.
The question is whose money is Sam Rainsy using for all of the legal expenses, his own or that of his party?
I am not accusing Sam Rainsy of any corruption here; however, in a good political party everything needs to be transparent. Perhaps the SRP members in and outside the country should consider hiring an independent foreign audit company to do the audit on the SRP account if a proper one has not been done yet.
Like any party, the SRP can fall prey to corruption and financial mismanagement so prevention is a key!
If the party plans to use its raised money in this lawsuit, then short-sightedness and lack of vision are the only words I can use to describe it.

I think Mr Sam Ransy shall file to ICC on behalf of the Boeung kak people for all the crimes committed by Hun Sen and Lao Meng Kin for having destroyed people properties and injured them by forces.
