As much as we hate to see the tragedy befalling on Borei Keila residents who have to suffer forced eviction, we DO NOT agree with your wish to return to the Khmer Rouge regime again. First and foremost, all of us have suffered tremendously under the KR regime, and the lawlessness that we are all witnessing currently is no other than the remnants left over by the KR regime itself. The use of the police force to evict innocent residents, the land-grabbing by cronies of the ruling CPP party are all tactics used by the KR during their reign of terror. Why do these tactics still survive until now? Simply because those who are in power (Hun Xen, Heng Xamrin, Chea Xim etc...) were former KR themselves, this clearly explains the underhanded tactics used nowadays.
As a former KR soldier, you may not suffered under the KR as others did, but please talk to people around you, ask them what they have to endure under the KR regime, then you will clearly understand why we DO NOT want to return the KR regime. So stop day-dreaming, one lifetime of tragedy is ENOUGH!

In the Khmer Rouge' killing era, there were NO YUONS' involvelment. It was pure ah Khmer Rouge's massacre. Khmer Rouge chased Yuons out of Cambodia since the end of 1973. Learn to accept your own responsibility!

i never be a Khmer rouge. I talked to many khmers. some hate Khmer rouge, some suport Khmer rouge. but we all agree that we all hate viet.

A number of my friends were dragged to the killing fields because they refuse to give their watches to the young Chhlorp.
These Chhlorp only killed the ones who refused to give their watches. If it were the Vietnamese plan in my village, I and my other friends would be killed also.
Vietnam wants Cambodia, but the KR for their stupidity made it easier and faster for Vietnam to achieve their goal.
The cultural revolution killed lots of Chinese people in the 60s and the KR people are more fanatical than the red Chinese!

After the husbands were taken away, those new widows had to marry again, to MoulaThan people who killed their husband of course, to survive because they had foods.
As much as I want to believe that the killing field was committed by Yourn, let me tell every one some clues: 1/The old people were told not to talk to new people after they arrived in their village.
2/ After the new people were forced out of the cities, the Khmer rouges set up the kitchens along the ways and urged all former Lon Nol soldiers to get foods there but they were tied up and killed.

Dear My Country Men 9:00 AM and 9:08AM, I strongly believe you were not fully and metalitily grown up and mature enough during the POL POT Regime. Regardless of any politics , I do not belong to any clan nor political party , I have lived through all the four national events , even between 1975 until 1979 (prior to the VIETNAMESE INVASION ) I had been forcibly mobilized from places to places from forest to no-where in Cambodia by our KHMER ROUGE Leaders and those who ordered and all those who executed my own families and our own KHMER People their skin complexion were darker than me with wavy hairs and they spoke fluently and perfectly KHMER language better than me with the same accent and twank of my own father 's primary tongue...and the same exactly to those people forced us to leave our homes and took our carried belongings on the road to the country sides.
I could not wait due to my old age to see our SAMAK MITH IENG SARY, NUON CHEA, KHIEU SAMPHAN , IENG ( KHIEU) THIRITH and KING FATHER SIHANOUK point their fingers to other foreigners and their counter-part Vietnamese .

Heng Soy, the Khmer Rouge also suffered very much, they do most of the fighting. Would you like to be in his position?
