The General Association of Vietnamese Cambodians (GAVC) on Thursday began a project to build a school for overseas Vietnamese children in Cambodia's Pray Veng Province.
Funded by US$115,000 from Dong Thap People's Committee the building will have an area of 1,530 sq.m which is expected to be completed in four months.
This is the second school for overseas Vietnamese children built in Cambodia, with the other located in the capital Phnom Penh.
About 600 Vietnamese children living in Pray Veng are pursuing Vietnamese language classes in different locations in Cambodia.
The school construction project is part of the efforts to help Vietnamese Cambodians maintain their mother tongue, traditions and customs, and to promote solidarity within the Vietnamese community.

Vietnamese knows more about Khmer history then Khmer. Since they are building a school, they might as well build hospitals and universities.

No, not truth.
I know the real history of Srok Yuon how it was built, Srok Khmer, Srok Siem, Srok Laos and Srok Akaing (US) more than the Yuon know themselves.

Hun Sen is nothing but a puppet that Yuon use him. Hun Sen is only a curtain that Yuon hiding behind.
Yuon are competing with Chinese. Not even that a big Yuon army with about at least 250,000 soldiers are in Cambodia. In Koh Kong are so full. At day time Yuon soldiers are not seen because they are living as civilians like fishermen or poor vendors, farmers, etc., but at night time they are everywhere.
If war breaks, Cambodia will be a pawn of Yuon war against China.
Hope and pray that China will launch missiles on Hanoi, the evil place soon.
Why Yuon send their soldiers to Koh Kong, and borders? Because Thaksin leased that island and he works for China.
Yuon are small people but because they went to too many wars, and they sacrificed their own people lives to defeat their enemies, they won, but they won't be on next wars against China even with the US help Yuon.
Nothing wrong to let them to have their school in Cambodia, but only for the Vietnamese citizenship. We also should verify the application form and the school curriculum.
Therefore we will able to know, who are or are not Vietnamese-Khmer born.
The project of annexation of Cambodia by Viets made succeeded well. The history of Cambodia repeats as Champa, Kampuchea Krom, and now Cambodia.
The Khmer leaders are destroying the Khmer nation by selling all the wealth of the Khmer people, and to serve foreign interests.
