everytime there is a development site, the squatters always moved there in advance. you can tell by the way they built their huts. they looked like they just moved there yesterday, if you ask me, really. i think these people are economic migrants, probably trying to take advantage of cambodia's uncontrollable economic development, etc. they want a piece of the khmer economic pie, you know. it mean, it's great that cambodia is developing both economically and socially. but to understand it, you can't always blame or pointing fingers at the gov't all the time, ok. i think it's the society and the people, not the gov't. it's hard to really be equal in our society because not everybody is successful in school, etc, you know.

9:57 AM,

You should be ashamed of yourself as a Khmer talking in such a devilish manner calling these poor Cambodian people as economic migrants without knowing one small thing about their lives.

You call on God all the time to bless Cambodia; you are certainly a hypocrite!

You live in the US and love and praise it on this site many times.

How did you and your family get to the US? I am pretty sure you and your family came to the US as refugees!

If the American people thought the way you do, you wouldn't have been allowed to come and live in the US since you would be considered opportunistic immigration viruses and not refugees seeking to benefit from the goodness of other people.

Hun Sen must be very happy to have such a heartless person like you to defend him even though he acknowledges deep down in his heart that his government has created suffering in different forms among the poor in Cambodia because he cannot control his cronies for fear that they would help his rival within the CPP to get the chair of the PM.

You seem to be on this site a lot so I hope you are not on welfare or any assitance!

If you are, you really suck Uncle Sam big time!

You are talking about slum in Cambodia? The slums are everywhere in Cambodia! It seems that the fucken Vietcong slave government doesn’t give a care or shit about the very people who help them to stay in power!

This is a true image of slum everywhere in Cambodia. I been there and I know! The lack of basic hygiene such as clean water, running toilet, fucken dirt dusty roads, huts...when it rains and it is 10 times worst! It seems that these Cambodian people have lost everything but their will power to live is incredible!

If I am a leader and I can do better for these people!

I like Cambodian woman keeps smiling. She is a very tough and having a good attitude. She and other good Cambodian people there deserve the better places. I agree with someone like 2:13 PM who wants to help out and rebuild the country.

That woman and her Cambodian people have the high hope and potentials around her and them. Please, don't give up. Hope will bring to you soon.

Let's work together help each other and don't vote for Hun Sen and CPP. Take don't Hun Sen and CPP clowns from the power.
