Sam Rainsy Party MPs, Ket Khy, Noun Vuthy and Mu Sochua met the 13 Boeung Kak Lake women land owners sentenced by the Phnom Penh Court on an illegal summary trial without their defense lawyers on May 24, 2012. All, except an elderly woman were sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison.
Although in good health, the women speak of their worries for their children who are now living in fear and deep depression.
"We want justice now. We should not be in this prison. We have lost our land and our human rights", said Tep Vanny.
"Please convey to the people outside not to forget us", she continues.
SRP MPs have written to His Majesty the King for the immediate release of the land owners.
MP, Mu Sochua who has been collected contributions from donors through her blog, handed US$1,570 to the women.
US$100 were kept by the women for food inside the prison and the rest is kept by their networks to support the continued action for their release and for justice.

What an election result. A BIG defeat for the strongest, largest, the most patriotic, the most loved opposition party in Cambodia SRP.
The trend will be similar in the National Election 2013. SRP MPs will be reduced to about 15, HRP will gain 17 MPs, Funcipec and NRP will gain 5, the remainder will be CPP. The share formula is to "legitimize" Cambodian democracy. CPP can have all MPs but they dont want to.
Like it or not, this is the reality of Cambodian democracy. Cambodia will not welcome a democracy dictator instigated by the SRP. Imagine SRP won. He will be a big head. He owns the party. His wife and he thinks the people vote for him solely, so he can do whatever he wants.
They are too proud, other Khmer patriots are beneath them. Likewise his top 20 per cent of his supporters think like them. They are the best party. Eat shit SRP!.

we not afraid of VietNamese but we must know how to work around them. We must first cooperate and then give them obligation to live in peace with our people if we won. khmers people must learn to be smarter. Negative force will never win. One of the reasons why khmers always failed because we used the word hate and hate. for example the king said he hated these or those people and in the end they tried to kill him and qll of his nation. so try to learn from all the leaders's mistakes.
