A SRP MP sent a letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen on Tuesday, requesting the latter to order an investigation and a possible arrest of Say Hak, the Sihanoukville governor, if he is involved in the forced eviction with the use of violence on villagers last month. In his letter, Son Chhay wrote to request for an investigation and an arrest of Say Hak, the Sihanoukville governor, and his colleagues, in the forced eviction of hundreds of villagers from their homes in Khan Mittapheap. In a phone response to The Cambodia Daily, Say Hak said that he has no worry about Son Chhay’s call sent to Hun Sen because he said his action was legal. Say Hak said that he is not worried and he welcomes this call.

Say Hak doesn't need to worry for sure, samdech Hun Sen will suppoort him, he not going to be investigate or arrest.

Say Hak was backed by Ly Yong Phat. I think Son Chhay needs to register all the victms names of Sihanouk ville and the size of their damages and file them to International criminal court for intervention of this criminals case. According to the court rules, Cambodia was a signatory to that court since 2002. I have checked this case with amnesty international office, they said that as Cambodia has already signed as member of that court, therefore, Cambodian people can refer to this court for any officials whose have committed humanity crimes against them. So Mr Son Chhay can do at the same time to refer Sai Hak humanity crimes to Hun Sen, to Cambodia Parliament and at the same time to this international criminals court. Areak Prey
