KING Father Norodom Sihanouk has written letters urging Prime Minister Hun Sen and other senior officials to examine opposition party allegations that Vietnamese authorities are encroaching on Cambodian soil.

The letters follow Cambodian and Vietnamese officials' criticism of opposition leader Sam Rainsy for uprooting six markers along the countries' loosely defined border in October.

Sihanouk's letters urged officials to "consider" Sam Rainsy's allegations. On Saturday, the opposition leader wrote a letter to the King Father, saying that villagers along the border in Svay Rieng province's Chantrea district were losing valuable farmland to Vietnam.

Var Kimhong, the government's senior minister in charge of border affairs, declined comment, noting only that Sam Rainsy's letter mentions that villagers uprooted border posts - omitting his own involvement.

In Cambodia, People learn how to shut-up from Top to lower leaderships.

In Cambodia, people do not learn how to talk, learn to shut-up, learn how to oppress, how do corruption, learn how to put Cambodia for SALE/AUCTION.

Today we celebrate the 56 years of independence of Cambodia obtained against French colonialism.
News in Cambodia provide abundant this time information on border issues between Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam,.
This occasion is also useful to reflect on the current policies of Communist China in Cambodia. The recent history of Cambodia
(1975-1979) which is fully involved China and the People of Tibet became colony of China and the importance Chinese colony in Cambodia today are matters of legitimate concerns the question of national independence of the Cambodia’s kingdom.

Communist China has no common border with Cambodia. So there is no borders problem with China.
This is not because the Chinese people have no common borders with Cambodia that Cambodia has nothing to fear for its independence with China. Cambodia’s subservience towards China (this Yellow Peril) is a real source of anxiety in the years to come for cambodia.
Because China’s colony and settlements, its mafia, the China complete hold on economic in Cambodia are the other problem and legitimate’s questions concerns about the independence of Cambodia in the near future.

I applaud Samdach Ouv on His quick response to Viets new encroachment.

I would like King Sihamoni endorses King Father's action on this matter. As Khmer King, I cannot imagine watching One's land and territories losing to foreigners such as Viets and Thais, and does nothing about it.

Khmer Angkor.
