After I went through all the comments in forum, I had felt that everyone has a feel for our beloved country and her people. However, there are few arguments that we are continue to debate on. Here is my opinion to conclude these arguments. We are appreciating what some of our former kings had done for our nation in the past and had given us a so proud identity as the Khmer. However, King Sihanouk is not one of them. He thought he was very genius and could out performed his predecessor, but instead he had crewed up our nation so badly. Now, about his son the current king, he is just a dump person that his parent has asked him to take the job so they can have the budget to support all other royal families' comfort life-style. And this is working well with the CPP because they want to use them as well to gain their political popularity. Now, for the Hun Sen government and cronies we all should understand clearly that they are doing anything to grip to their power and in turn to gain their wealth. Today they are selling very thing such national wealth and national resource etc to gain their wealth. By doing all of this, they give a lot sufferings to our Khmer people. So, the debate should focus on the subject what course of action that Khmer people like you and I should do to have our country goes on the right direction. Get involve with political party, form NGO organization to help our people only or what else can we do. this is what we should debate about.

Thanks for trying to lecture me on Khmer history. I have to admit that I am not old enough to be Sihanouk's 50th, 60th, and 70th era, but rather old enough to understand the logical sense. If Sihanouk would stay put with the American during the Youn's war and would fully aware of what the intention of Uncle Ho was, don't you think our country and her people would benefit and live happy for ever since ?. One story I was told the reason that Sihanouk had broke tie with the American in the 60th because of his personal stupidity anger at President John F. Kennedy. This was after his trip to America at the time and President John F. Kennedy did not come to the airport to greet him but instead he sent the Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to welcome him. And that was set Sihanouk off to be very angry at the American and decided to bow to the Chinese and to let Uncle Ho used Cambodian land as military incursion when he arrived back to Cambodia. To me the story is perfectly fitting Sihanouk's character.
