Hey Jendha,

I find that some or most of the news from November 25, 2013 are probably still important and relevant, and basically still hot and current for those who have not yet read them since they did not visit your site yesterday. Unfortunately, all those news articles are being pushed down and buried/hidden somewhere far down from the main pages, and may have no good chance of being found and read by interested visitors.

Just an idea, maybe you create another template designated for "Old News" where you can post along or side by side with the "Latest News" template. Doing so would allow readers to easily know not only where and what the latest/today news are, but also where to look for, fill in on, or catch up where they left off, on some old news they have not read from the day(s) before.

Furthermore, as some commenters have pointed out, some of the information on both sides of the main homepage may need to be updated for it to stay relevant and to be worth remaining there.

Best,

PL

For the "Old News" template, you can just post news headlines, each with a link where readers can click on for full stories, if they're interested. PL

Dear PL,

Thank you! I have been thinking about this. Please give me some time. I will come up with a better solution to provide our readers with an easy access to yesterday news.

I release the 'sticky' post of news from each day every morning to give our daily 'Latest News' a fresh start. This is an example of news from yesterday I have mentioned. However, I will come up with a better solution. I have to work on many blogs at work every day, so my brain is frying and want to be a little nice to her!

http://ki-media.blogspot.com/2013/11/most-recent-news_25.html

Perhaps I can insert a little tick saying 'read yesterday's news' or something like that.

Again, please continue to provide us feedback. I want to make readers happy. That's what I'm here for.

With Respect,
Jendhamuni

Dear PL,

Jendhamuni again,
Please do not hesitate critique my work. This is what we do at work every day. And of course at school too.

Jendha,

It works and it help a lot. Maybe increase the size of the letters a little bit so the phrase is more noticeable and visible. The word "Day" may be changed to Days in its plural form as you may still have news older than yesterday.

However, if you can show some headlines, it'll help a lot too. Some headlines are so attracting, and so tempting that makes visitors click for more details. Just an idea.

Best,

PL

Dear PL,

I'm playing around with font size, color, and typeface right now. The reason I don't display those headline is because I try to save space ;) I'm working on it. Maybe reduce some items on current latest news and display a few links to yesterday's sensitive and popular news?

Yes, that's the point of attracting some curious visitors/eyes to read and not miss some important old news. PL

Dear PL,

And will attract even more with 'sarcastic' words in red! ;)

And you don't want to be seen as playing around a lot. The bottom line is you're grooming yourself to be seen as more professional. It's not a bad thing to do something to stand out and attract more consumers, but you need to really distinguish and carefully walk the professional vs. playful lines. I think moderation, sophistication and subtleness are great. PL

I appreciate what you've done. You're doing a great service for KI-Media community and our country. For that, thank you! PL

Thank you. I totally understand what you are saying. Some time I am bored and want to play with CPP _____, you know what word I want to use!
